Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has called for further improvement from his side despite their convincing 3-0 away victory over Eleven Wonders in the Ghana Premier League.
Speaking after the match, Dramani welcomed the emphatic scoreline but stressed that his team still has areas to work on.
““I wasn’t too happy a person. I think that it is good that we had our first 3-0 win in the game, but I think that we still need to be more clinical, and we need to be more conventional and also make the right decisions in very key moments,”Dramani said.
The Hearts coach explained that his focus goes beyond results, placing greater emphasis on the finer details of the game, particularly his team’s structure and defensive organisation.
“For me, I’m more into the small details of the game because both structures in terms of how our defensive phase was, the clear identity of what we have to do when we don’t have the ball, especially when we need to win the ball in higher positions,” he noted.
Dramani added that these elements remain central to his coaching philosophy.
“These key aspects are aspects that I don’t take lightly. I really emphasise these aspects.”
The win, which was Hearts’ first big victory of the season, propelled the Phobians to fourth place on the league table, boosting their title ambitions.
Hearts of Oak will now look to build on the momentum from the victory as the league campaign continues.
