Newly appointed Managing Director of Accra Hearts of Oak, Julius Ben Emunah, has expressed gratitude and excitement following his assumption of office, describing the role as both a privilege and a calling.
In his first public remarks after the appointment, Emunah said he was honoured to lead one of Ghana’s most historic football institutions and promised to serve with humility, integrity and a clear vision for success.
“I step into this role with humility, clarity of vision, and a strong commitment to excellence, integrity, and service,” he said.
Emunah acknowledged the responsibility that comes with leading the Phobians and emphasized the importance of collective effort in building a sustainable future for the club.
“Leading such a historic institution is both a privilege and a responsibility. I look forward to working with the Board, Management, Players, Staff, and Supporters to build a strong, sustainable, and successful future,” he added.
He also sent a message to the club’s passionate fan base, describing the appointment as more than just an administrative role.
“My fellow Phobians, this is more than a role. It is a calling,” Emunah stated, reaffirming Hearts of Oak’s famous spirit with the slogan, Never Say Die.
Accra Hearts of Oak recently confirmed Emunah’s appointment as Managing Director as part of efforts to strengthen the club’s administrative and operational structure.
