The Ghanaian midfielder has successfully undergone a knee operation after several weeks off the pitch.
Rocky, an Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder suffered an ACL – anterior cruciate ligament injury and had to visit the treatment room hence his absence from the pitch for the Phobias since latter part of 2025. He sustained the injury in Hearts of Oak clash with Bibiani GoldStars.
The surgery was carried out using arthroscopy, a modern medical technique that involves the use of tiny specially developed cameras inserted into the knee area to guide surgeons to correct any diffects in the knee.
The surgery was held at the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
The surgery was completed without any complications, and Rocky is now set to begin his rehabilitation program under the supervision of the club’s medical team.
The former Asante Kotoko SC player remains in high spirits and is determined to return stronger for the Continental Masters having missed majority of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier league season.
