Asante Kotoko Sporting Club have confirmed the departure of Abdul Karim Zito Kabutey as head coach of the club.
The announcement confirm an earlier story ghanasportspage broke on Sunday after the MTN FA Cup exit.
In a statement, the club disclosed that Zito resigned from his position with immediate effect, a decision which has been accepted by management.
Kotoko expressed appreciation to the coach for his services during his time at the club and wished him well in his future endeavours.
