Members of the Ghana national football team Management Committee have been allocated a total of $310,000 as appearance fees in the proposed budget for the 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign.
This means the 5-member committee will receive $62,000 each. A significant drop from the previous $100,000.
The members include, Dr. Randy Abbey – Chairman, Stephen Appiah – Vice Chairman (in charge of player relations), Samuel Aboabire (Operations), Moses Armah (Operations), and Richard Nsenkyire (Special Duties).
According to details contained in the proposed budget, the amount is earmarked to cater for the operational involvement of management committee members throughout the competition.
The revelation comes after the Ministry confirmed a $13.7 million proposed but for the World Cup.
The proposed budget has already sparked public discussion, with many raising concerns about the amount budgeted.
The Black Stars qualified for the World Cup topping their group. They will face England, Croatia and Panama drawing the said countries in Group L.
