Details of the proposed budget for the Ghana national football team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign have emerged, outlining projected expenditure across various stages of the tournament should Ghana progress to the final.
According to figures released, the total proposed budget stands at $13,776,965, covering preparations, participation costs, and administrative expenses tied to the national team’s World Cup journey.
Budget Breakdown by Stage
The financial plan allocates $1,230,465 for pre-tournament camping as part of preparations before the competition begins.
Participation in the group stage is projected to cost $6,284,000, representing the largest portion of the budget due to logistics, accommodation, bonuses, and operational expenses.
Further allocations are tied to progression in the tournament:
• Round of 32: $690,000
• Round of 16: $920,000
• Quarter-final: $1,137,500
• Semi-final: $1,365,000
• Final: $1,840,000
Additionally, $310,000 has been earmarked as honorarium for members of the Black Stars Management Committee.
