With less than 100 days to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, former Asante Kotoko SC skipper and goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim has send a warming and encouragement message to current Ghana’s number one, Benjamin Asare.
Danlad who is a former Black Stars invitee shared his thoughts on the team and rallied support for the side especially Hearts of Oak SC shot-stopper Benjamin Asare.
“Benjamin Asare is my senior, so it wouldn’t be right for me to advise him”
“I can only seek God’s luck, favor, and strength for him, to protect him from any disgrace or injuries. I really admire his conduct both on and off the pitch, and I pray that he performs exceptionally well for Ghana in the tournament,” Ibrahim told Akoma FM in an interview.
Ghana having being drawn against England, Croatia and Panama in Group L of the 2026 FIFA World Cup to be held in USA, Canada and Mexico is expected to parade strong squad for the campaign.
