Hamburger SV forward Ransford Yeboah Konigsdorffer has been handed a late call-up to the Ghana national football team camp following the withdrawal of Iñaki Williams and Brandon Thomas-Asante due to injuries.
The duo reportedly picked up knocks during their respective league matches, forcing them out of the squad ahead of Ghana’s upcoming international friendlies.
Konigsdorffer has already arrived in Vienna and is expected to join training with the Black Stars on Tuesday afternoon as preparations intensify.
The 22-year-old has been a key figure for his club this season, registering four goals in 26 appearances, and will be eager to make an impression on the national team coaching staff.
His inclusion offers head coach Otto Addo an additional attacking option as Ghana gears up for crucial tests in Europe.
