Former Germany manager Joachim Low is on the verge of becoming the new head coach of the Ghana national football team on a short-term contract focused on the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
According to the renowned Nuhu Adams, personal terms between the German tactician and Ghanaian officials are close to being finalized after extensive late-night negotiations in Germany.
The 66-year-old, who famously led the Germany national football team to victory at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, is expected to earn around €150,000 per month if the deal is completed.
Should the agreement go through, Low’s appointment would mark a significant shift in direction for Ghana following the departure of Otto Addo, with the focus squarely on preparing the Black Stars for a strong showing at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Joachim Low’s vast international experience and proven tournament pedigree could be seen as a major boost for a team aiming to rebuild and compete at the highest level.
