Ghanaian football club Hohoe United FC on Wednesday announced their decision to withdraw from the Ghana Premier league. A stand that will see them not participating in the ongoing 2025/26 league campaign again.
Despite, the remainder of the league being few weeks from elapsing has opted to withdraw.
Currently, the club sits 17th on the league log with 30 points after week 27.
In a release, Hohoe United FC confirmed their withdraw and stated injustice as a reason for their decision to say good bye.
Statement reads;
“Hohoe United hereby notifies the Ghana Football Association of its decision to withdraw from the remainder of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier league with immediate effect.
“This decision has been taken after careful consideration of the systematic unfairness and apparent bias exhibited toward the club in the disciplinary process leading to the 3 match home ban the club is currently enduring.
“This withdrawal does not mark the end of Hohoe United FC, it is a principal stand against injustice”
