Medeama SC midfielder Salim Adams has declared his readiness to represent Ghana, leaving his Black Stars ambitions in the hands of new head coach Carlos Queiroz.
The in-form midfielder believes his performances have positioned him for a potential national team opportunity but admits the final decision rests with the coach.
“Everything depends on Carlos Queiroz. I’m ready for a Black Stars call-up,” Adams stated.
His comments come at a time when competition for places in the national team is expected to intensify, following Queiroz’s emphasis on merit-based selection and performance.
Adams’ confidence reflects a growing desire among domestic players to break into the Black Stars setup, particularly as the team undergoes a rebuild ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
With the new coach expected to assess both local and foreign-based talent, players like Adams will be hoping their form earns them a place in Ghana’s evolving squad.
