Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak SC has been hit with sad news, as they got involved in a tricycle accident on their way to honour week 33 clash of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier league fixture.
The Phobias were heading to Samraboi this afternoon for their Sunday clash against FC Samertex 1996 and was involved in an accident. Their bus was hit by a tricycle while crossing were few roadside victims got affected and taken to hospital for treatment.
The good news is that, all Hearts of Oak SC players and officials are safe and sound with no injuries.
Statement from the club reads;
On our way to Samraboi to honour our Matchday 33 fixture against Samartex, our team bus was involved in a minor incident after being hit by a tricycle while crossing.
A few roadside victims affected by the incident were taken to the hospital at Wassa Simpa, where they received treatment and have been discharged.
We would like to assure the general public and the football fraternity that all our players and officials are safe.
