NAC Breda have confirmed that experienced Ghanaian players André Ayew and Denis Odoi will leave the club following Sunday’s final match of the season.
The Dutch side decided against extending the contracts of both players after what has been described as a difficult spell during their time at the club.
Ayew, the former Black Stars captain, struggled to make a major impact, with his standout moment coming in the form of a goal against Feyenoord. He has played a total of 16 games, starting 8 since joining in December 2025.
Odoi, on the other hand, endured a challenging campaign as NAC Breda continue their squad restructuring ahead of next season. Despite the struggles, he started 17 of the 19 games he played this season.
The departures mark the end of a short stint for the two experienced players and could open the door for new opportunities elsewhere as they consider the next stage of their careers.
Meanwhile, NAC Breda have been relegated and would play in the second tier division next season.
