The International Kickboxing Federation – PKB Ghana will be representing Ghana at the upcoming prestigious international championship in the United State next month.
The championship which is organized by Evergreen Promotion and Power House Promotions is expected to offer huge exposure to the Ghanaian team as they also fight for laurels, as far as raising high the flag of Ghana is concerned. The championship which will commence July 10, 2026 is scheduled for 3-days, and will take place at Las Vegas, USA precisely at Flamingo Hotel.
Ghana will be represented by their two top athletes, namely; Salom Darku and Haruna Osumanu with Federation President Ahmed Ibrahim and assistant leader Samuel Aidoo Kweku as delegation leadership.
Under the supervision of the National Sports Authority (NSA) of Ghana has granted the Kick boxing Federation the privilege for the upcoming championship in the United State of America with the fighters highly motivated for the championship.
President Ahmed Ibrahim speaking on the championship, acknowledged the President of Ghana H.E John Dramani Mahama and the Sports Authority for the confidence imposed in their Federation and the support ahead of the Championship, ensuring their massive support will guide them to clinch the championship berth.
“I am very happy with His Excellency the President of Ghana, NSA boss Mr. Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Sharaf Mahama for his support, Elvis Afriye Ankrah from the Office of the President, and our technical team for their massive support to the team. Thank you to all NSA staff for the collective support. With this backing, Ghana is going to make a big impact and we are coming home with the ultimate belt.”
Meanwhile, the Kick boxing Federation will take the opportunity to engage in Technical Seminar as part of the championship program, which Ghanaian officials will attend the seminar to cover Global promotion standards and certification, Advanced referee and judging training, Fight safety, medical protocols and anti-doping as well as Event management for international championships.
