Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC have agreed a deal with Heart of Lions for the transfer of highly-rated defensive midfielder Etse Dogli, sources close to the negotiations have confirmed.
The two top-flight clubs successfully concluded negotiations regarding the transfer fee, clearing the path for the Tarkwa-based outfit to open direct talks with the player.
Discussions over personal terms, including contract duration and salary structure, are underway, with all parties working to finalise the agreement.
According to Shaban Mohammed, barring any unexpected late hitches or financial complications, Dogli is fully expected to complete his medical examination and be officially unveiled as a Mauve and Yellow player in the coming days.
The transfer marks a major coup for Medeama SC, who reportedly beat stiff competition from domestic giants Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak to secure the midfielder’s services.
Dogli enjoyed a stellar breakout campaign with Kpando Heart of Lions, rapidly transitioning from a lower-division center-back into one of the most formidable holding midfielders in the Ghana Premier League.
His consistent league performances also earned him recognition on the international stage with a call-up to the home-based national team, the Black Galaxies.
Medeama’s management has been actively reinforcing the squad to build a competitive team capable of competing fiercely on both domestic and continental fronts.
