Ghana’s Black Princesses will play their second international friendly against Mexico U-20 as preparations continue ahead of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
The match will be played behind closed doors at the Stadion Miejskiego Klubu Sportowego Gornik Walbrzych, with kick-off scheduled for 12:00 GMT.
The Black Princesses began their preparations in Poland with an impressive 4-0 victory over Polish side Sleza Wroclaw in their first friendly.
Head coach Charles Sampson will use the Mexico game to further assess his squad, test different tactical approaches and build cohesion ahead of the tournament.
The friendly will also provide the Ghanaian technical team with another opportunity to assess the players against stronger international opposition.
Ghana are preparing to make their eighth consecutive appearance at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
Despite their consistent presence at the tournament, the Black Princesses are yet to progress beyond the group stage and will be hoping to make history at this year’s competition.
The Mexico fixture is therefore another important step in Ghana’s preparations as Sampson continues to shape his squad and fine-tune his tactics ahead of the World Cup.
