The Black Stars on Thursday, November 12, 2020, hosted the North African counterparts in the first fixture of a double header tie at the Cape Coast stadium and lashed them two unanswered goals the team will be traveling to Khartoum, on Tuesday, November 17th for the reverse fixture.
Coach Hubert Velud who took over Sudan’s coaching job last February had their first competitive game in Cape coast yesterday for the 2021 African Nations cup qualifiers against Ghana and lost the said match.
In the press conference coach, Hubert Velud said the refereeing performance was very bad, and that there was a clear penalty kick with striker Abdel Rahman that was not counted. He praised the performance of his players, indicating that he was satisfied with the team performance in general.
