The Black Stars on Thursday, November 12, 2020, hosted the North African counterparts in the first fixture of a double header tie at the Cape Coast stadium and lashed them two unanswered goals the team will be traveling to Khartoum, on Sunday 15th November for the reverse fixture on 17th November 2020.

The national team returned to Khartoum in the early hours of Saturday morning. and the technical staff decided to include the striker Walaa El-Din Moussa to the list.
Ghana tops the group with 9 points, South Africa follow with 6 points, Sudan on the 3rd position with 3 points while Sao Tome and Principe are on the last of the group without any point.
