Players and officials of Burkina Faso’s FC Salitas have arrived in the country ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup (CC) preliminary round first leg fixture against Ashanti Gold Sporting Club on Sunday.
The Burkinabe side arrived at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra on Friday afternoon to continue preparations ahead of the continental assignment. A first batch contingent of 15-persons comprising mainly of the players and few club officials arrived in Accra on Friday afternoon, with the remaining personnel scheduled to arrived on Saturday.
Ghana’s number one sports news breakers, ghanasportspage.com can reliably confirm, that the team of 15 persons will travel from the nation’s capital, Accra straight to the match destination – Obuasi without spending a night in Accra.
The referees for the game, Issa Mouhamed from Benin (centre referee), Koudogbo Augustin Augustin Kougbemede and Lucien Todegnon Hontonnou (assistants 1&2 respectively) as well as Djindo Louis Houngnandande (4th Official), will all arrive in the country on Saturday, November 28, 2020.
Meanwhile, Match Commissioner, Rene Williams Sere from Côte D’Ivoire, arrived in Accra on Friday evening, and will spend the night in Accra till tomorrow before continuing the journey to Obuasi where he will be relaxing for the Sunday assignment.
Ashanti Gold SC will host their Burkinabe counterparts on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at the Obuasi Len Clay sports stadium at 15:00 GMT.
