The exercise started on Friday where Doctors from the Central Regional Hospital came to test everyone. After that they did the technical test (the laws of the game, game situations, etc) before they started with the runs, Premier league Referees started before the assistant referees, and then the division one.
The women referees had their turn today before the final batch of men completed the exercise.
Now that they are done, the various instructors will compile their results and give them to us. It is there that we will make the final list to see the cut-off point for Premier, Division One, and women’s referees.
We will meet them again, and prepare them finally before the league starts.” According to Darling FM 90.9 (ABN) Cape Coast”
There were no much surprises because most of them were able to run and we expected that.
I can’t say the Covid-19 affected those who failed because even with that some still passed. It all depends on the preparations they did. Referees fitness tests have ended successfully.
