Newly appointed head coach of Asante Kotoko, Mariano Barreto has named his starting XI against ELeven Wonders in their Ghana Premier Leag (GPL) Match Day 18 clash on Saturday.
The Portuguese trainer is epected to make his debut in the GPL, leading the Porcupine Warriors against Ignatius Osei Fosu’s ELeven Wonders at the Ohene Ameyaw Park.
However, due to work permit issues which is yet to be settled, the former Black Stars coach is unable to sit on the bench yet.
The delay means lince A certificate holder, and assistant coach Abdulai Gale will lead the team in the game against ELeven Wonders for the mean time.
Goalkeeper Razak Abalora maintains his position in the posts ahead of skipper Felix Annan. The defence pair will see Abdul Ganiu and Yusif Mubarik in the heart of defence, supported on the right and left back positions by Christopher Nakai Nettey and Imoro Ibrahim respectively.
Former Ashanti Gold midfielder Latif Anabila, Brazilian international Fabio Gama and robust midfield commander Mudasiru Salifu will complete the midfield partnership.
Speedster Emmanuel Gyamfi and Augustine Okrah will be deployed to the wings with Ivorian international Naby Keita leading the attack.
