Former Rayon Sport FC midfielder Pierre Kwizera has arrived in Kumasi ahead of his expected move to Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The Burundian arrived in Ghana on Friday and looks set to reach agreement with Maxwell Konadu’s side to enable him give Ghanaian football fans a share of his glittering power play.
Kwizera, who have been in talks with Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu before his arrival in Ghana, will have his first training with the Porcupine Warriors on Saturday at the Baba Yara sports stadium in Kumasi.
Coach Maxwell Konadu and his technical team will take the opportunity to further assess the 2015/2016 Azam Rwanda Premier League player of the year before making a final decision on his fate.
The 28-year old is noted for his power play, free kick specialities and long strikes, and will definitely be a wonderful addition to the already seeming unbeatable Asante Kotoko side.
In national duties, Kwizera has featured for the Burundi national team since 2009 and has since scored few important goals for his country when it mattered most.
