The former Wa All Stars (now Legon Cities FC) striker is back home and has signed a 3-year contract with AshantiGold SC after terminating his contract with Cypriot premier league side Kucuk Kaymaklı Turk S.K due to the long absence of football in the country as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
The 24-year old nimble-footed forward has made a return to the domestic league.”My aim of joining AshantiGold SC is to help them win the league or be part of the first top three teams, so I can feature for them in Africa competitions” Paul Asare De Vris exclusively told ghanasportspage.com.
“I want to help AshantiGold SC to win either the domestic league or we finish top three ,so we can play CAF Champions League or Confederation Cup next season” he added.
Ghana Premier League strikers are really doing well and I applaud them, they make the goal-scoring competition great in the league, “Yes, my target is to disturb the defenders to get close to the top scorers and even overtake them” he promised.
Striker Paul Asare De Vris joined the Yellow and Black team this second window, De Vris will begin his coming back this weekend against the league leaders Karela United. “Yes, I have signed a 3-year contract with the miners and will be helping to win trophies” He concluded.
Ashanti Gold is currently occupying 11th position with 21 points and will be travelling to face Karela United on sunday 4th April, 2021
