Easter Regional Football Association Chairman Linford Asamoah has won one of the two slots allocated to the Regional Football Association on the Executive Committee of the Ghana FA.
Linford, a great contractor and boss of the Eastern Regional FA polled 4 votes to emerge winner of the Thursday elections held in Accra.
Meanwhile, the other candidates Robert Duncan and Salifu Zida tied with 3 votes each after three different voting attempts to separate the two. Consequently, there will be another election attempt on Friday, 25th October, 2019 to determine who between the two wins the remaining one slot.
