The 12th edition of the Total Africa Women’s Cup of Nations has officially been cancelled by CAF.
The decision was made public in the aftermath of Tuesday’s CAF executive committee meeting held by video conference to discuss key issues about the African football.
CAF made the decision this afternoon to cancel the tournament amid the Coronavirus pandemic which has affected football activities across the globe.
The competition has served as a qualifying tournament for the FIFA Women’s World Cup and every other tournament since its inception in 1991.
