Accra Hearts of Oak have announced the signing of defender Caleb Amankwah on a free transfer as the ongoing transfer window draws to a close.
The 23-year of right back has joined the Phobians as a free agent following the expiration of his three-year term with Aduana Stars. Caleb’s contract with the two times premier league champions expired on Sunday, December 20, 2020, making him a free agent, capable of signing for any club of his choice.
He has now signed a two and half years deal for Accra Hearts of Oak which will keep him at the club till 2023. Hearts of Oak took to Twitter to announce the deal of Friday.
Caleb had played for West African Football Academy (WAFA), before he joined Aduana Stars in 2017 on a three-year deal. With the second window of the local transfer set to close on midnight, March 18, Hearts of Oak is busy in the transfer market hunting for talents to augment the current squad, especially the striking department before the window shuts.
