Moroccan top flight side Renaissance Sportive (RS) Berkane have safely touched down in Accra, Ghana ahead of their Confederations Cup first round first leg tie against Obuasi Ashantigold SC on Saturday.
The last year Confederations Cup finalists arrived at the Kotoka International Airport around 2:00am and will leave Accra by 9:00am by air to Kumasi where the team will be based till their mandatory match venue training scheduled for Friday.
A contingent of 36 persons out of the total of 38-man contingent arrived on Tuesday dawn with a total of 20 players, 7 technical staff and 9 officials. The advance team of two persons led by club Chairman Hakim Benabdellah arrived in Kumasi on Monday to survey Ghana ahead of the team’s arrival.
