Ashgold opponents for the CAF Confederations Cup Akonangui FC will arrive in Ghana this evening ahead of their second leg match against the Obuasi based club.
The Equatorial Guinean side will arrive in Kumasi with chartered flight and later continue to Obuasi to prepare for the match on Saturday.
“They will arrive this evening in Kumasi and come straight to Obuasi”, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong, President of Ashantigold confirmed to Fox sports.
The Ebebiyin based club failed to pick a win against the Miners in the first leg played in Equatorial Guinea, conceded first before coming from behind to level the score 1-1 after 90 minutes of play.
The team is expected to train at the match venue, which is the Len Clay stadium tomorrow (Friday) before the match on Saturday.
