The life patron of premier league side Aduana Stars, Oseadeeyo Nana Agyemang Badu II (Dr) has been elected President for the Bono Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs in a hypercompetitive elections held on Thursday in the regional capital, Sunyani.
It was a neck to neck race between two respectable chiefs, Dormaahene, Oseadeeyo Nana Agyemang Badu II (Dr), life patron of Aduana Stars football club, and Nana Bofo Bene IV, the chief of Dwenem, a town in the Bono Ahafo region of Ghana.
The elections were held on Thursday in the morning, half an hour before noon in Sunyani which say the high court judge, Oseadeeyo Nana Agyemang Badu II (Dr) emerged the winner.
The Aduana Stars life patron polled 6 votes as against 5 of the Dwenem chief, out the total of 11 votes cast. With 1 vote difference,Oseadeeyo Nana Agyemang Badu II (Dr) won the polls and is now the newly elected President of the Bono Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs.
