Karela United star striker leads the headlines after finding the net twice in their premier league week 7 match against Legon Cities FC in Tarkwa.
The Passioners beat the Accra based side 3-0 at the Tarkwa Akoon park on Friday afternoon to move five place up on the league table. From 15th position, Karela United now sits 10th on league table, having gained the three points in addition to their 5 points earlier.
Taylor struck in the 28th minute of the first half to put the home side in front after series of passes among the players from the heart of midfield to the attacking third. Samuel Ofori doubled the lead for coach Anos Adipah’s lads 14 minutes later to put the damage almost beyond repairs for Legon Cities.
The first half ended with Karela leading 2-0, but the second half told the same story as Legon Cities found no antidote to the attacking prowess of the Aiyinase based club.
Diawisie Taylor got the job done when he rose to the ocassion once again in the 89th minute to make it 3-0.
The game ended 3-0 in favour of Karela United and the two goals hero Diawisie Taylor was adjudged man of the match after registering two goals for the first time this season in five league matches.
