Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have released a list of 31-man contingent led by the club’s CEO George Ernest Amoako set for the journey to the United Kingdom ahead of the club’s Independence Day Commemorative friendly match against their bitterest rivals Accra Hearts of Oak.
The Porcupine Warriors will face Phobian counterparts for the first time in their history outside the country where the Phobians will look to end the recent dominance of the Maxwell Konadu led side over them.
The game has been slated for 7th March, 2020 at the Barnet Stadium in London. The ProBall International Limited initiative offers both clubs and their numerous supporters to sell out their colours, identities and ability to the UK football market, which will help them gain some more followers in the United Kingdom.
Conspicously missing in the list of players making the trip is leading striker Sogne Yacouba due to contract issues, but has been replaced with new signing striker Kwame Poku who joined recently from lower division side Nkoranza Warriors.
