Nigerien international Victorien Adje Adebayor has been named Inter Allies player of the month of January by the club following his superb performance for the club in the Ghana premier league in the just past month.
The free scoring skipper played all six matches for Inter Allies where he scored five (5) goals and provided three assists. He also scooped three NASCO MVP awards for his great performance for the Capeli Boys. He expressed his delight over the award after receiving it from the club.
‘‘It’s a pleasure and I’m excited to be named the club’s player of the month but it would not be possible without team-mates who work very hard to ensure the team keeps it’s fine form,” he said after scooping the prize.
The Nigerien is fighting for the top scorer award in the league, having scored five of the club’s ten in the said period, but still has Aduana Stars’ Yahaya Mohammed to beat after the former OGC Nice striker extended his tally to 8 goals after netting from the spot against Ebusua Dwarfs on Wednesday.
