Sudanese giants Al Hilal football club management member has boldly told Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko to rebuild their team. The two come to face off in the second leg of the CAF Champions League competition preliminary round come Wednesday.
According to Izedin Hassan, Asante Kotoko team is not like before. “Yes the name is big(Asante Kotoko) but they are not prepared than Al Hilal, we just respect respect them” . He told ghanasportspage.com
This is the last stage of the preliminary round of the 2020/2021 Champions League campaign, and the winner between the two sides after the two-legged fixture will advance to the group stages of the competition.
“Asante Kotoko is just a big club but they need to rebuild their team”. He insisted.
He was shocked to hear Asante Kotoko sacked their coach [Maxwell Konadu] whilst a few days to play a big game like Hilal. The management of Asante Kotoko shouldn’t have taken such a decision. He added.
