Kotoko injury update: Four key players who won't play against Aduana Stars revealed

Asante Kotoko fraternity is anticipating another 24-karat performance to secure a win against Aduana Stars this afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Porcupines are yet to taste a defeat after three matches in the league. Two wins and a draw so far.

Nonetheless, the ‘Reds’ will lock horns with Aduana Stars without four key players who have been pivotal in the affairs of the club due to injuries and accumulation of cards.

Striker Osman Ibrahim is still battling with a groin injury which has made him unavailable in today’s clash.

The highly-rated striker has been tipped to glitter at Kotoko after a breathtaking performance with King Faisal last season.

In the middle, Asante Kotoko will still miss the services of Emmanuel Kayekeh and Kwame Adom Frimpong. Kayekeh lack match fitness and is still doing gym work while Adom Frimpong is yet to recover from illness.

The last player who will enjoy today’s game from the stands is Emmanuel Sarkodie.

Sarkodie is out of the game due to accumulation of yellow cards.

Asante Kotoko lies on the 4th position with 16 points. A win in today’s game will leapfrog Kotoko to bypass Karela for the first position.
