Interim chairman of Ashantigold sporting club supporters union Kwame Boafo has urged all supporters of the club going to the stadium tomorrow to adhere to all laid down Covid-19 protocols.
Kwame Boafo in an interview with ghanasportspage.com made emphasised the need for the fans to follow all the necessary protocols so as to avoid any punishment.
“I will urge our fans to make sure to follow all the laid down Covid-19 protocols by the GFA to avoid any ban or fine”, he said after a donation to the club last Friday.
“We should behave well as the decent supporters that we are so if you get the chance to enter the stadium, you make sure to seat according to how social distance arrangements and to know that we are not in normal times”, he added
He also asked the fans to leave matters of the officiating weather good or bad to authorities.
“A lot has happened which have taken away the beauty of games and the interest is gradually decreasing, so I entreat our fans to leave the matters of officiating whether good or bad to our management and the authorities to handle”,
“This will help to save our club from attracting any form of punishment”.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports in collaboration with the Ghana Football Association have been able to get the Government and the Covid-19 monitoring team to allow the 25% of football fans to go to the various stadia to support clubs as was agreed sometimes back.
