Hearts of Oak defender Raddy Ovouka will miss the club’s next away Premier League game which is against Dreams FC this weekend.
This is due to accumulated yellow cards he had in games in previous games.
The Congolese international picked up his 3rd yellow card in the Phobians 1-1 draw against Karela United last Sunday at the CAM Park. And it means Ovouka will miss Hearts’ trip to Dawu, piling more pressure on Samuel Boadu.
This is in line with Article 28(1)(e) of the GFA Premier League Regulations (2019) which states that “An unqualified player is a player who has received a caution in three league matches’’.
Hearts of Oak will also miss the services of Salifu Ibrahim and Obeng Junior due to the accumulation of yellow cards.
Hearts of Oak will be looking forward to maintain their record against the Dawu side that they defeated during the first round of matches.
A win for Hearts will extend their lead at the top over Dreams FC to six points.
