Defender of Kumasi-based Ghana premier league side King Faisal football club Paul Fiifi Aidoo has said he and his teammates will go all out in their against Accra Hearts of Oak this weekend.
The GPL enters week 22 this weekend and the 30-year-old center-back believes a win will at least push the ‘Inshallahu boys’ from the sink.
“We are going all out against Hearts of Oak this weekend, we want to survive, and getting a point(s) will help push us up a little bit”, he said.
‘Madusa’ as referred to in the football world also told ghanasportspage.com in an interview, how he and the old players intend to keep King Faisal in the league.
“Myself and the other experienced players who just joined the team this second round have made up our minds to use our experience with the talents of the young ones to keep King Faisal in the Ghana Premier League”,
“We were brought here to help and that’s exactly what we are going to do, this team will not go on relegation under our watch”, he added.
The former Berekum Chelsea, Aduana Stars, Medeama SC, etc. defender also admitted the Hearts of Oak game is not going to be easy but is hopeful the Alhaji Grusah boys will do magic.
“I must say the Hearts of Oak isn’t going to be that easy judging from the fact that they lost their last game away but we are determined to do to the needful to survive, we are in die need of the three (3) points more than they do”, he stressed.
King Faisal babies FC lost the three points in the first encounter against Hearts of Oak at home and to overturned the scoreline to their favor in the second round of the 2020/2021 GPL season.
