Kasim Gokyildiz has resigned as Head Coach of Ghana Premier League side King Faisal FC.
Gokyildiz, 55, joined King Faisal before the commencement of the second round of the Ghana Premier League season replacing Andy Sinasson.
His arrival has not changed the fortunes of the club as they continue to struggle in the ongoing season. They are currently in the relegation drop.
The Turkish gaffer who joined the club barely three months recorded three wins, four losses and three draws in the 10 games he played. The Insha Allah club currently lies on the 15th position on the log with 29 points.
However, Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM report that the coach has communicated his resignation to the club’s hierarchy.
His assistant Nuru is expected to lead the team when they take on Ashantigold in the MTN FA Cup round of 64 encounter at the Len Clay Stadium later this afternoon.
Alhaji Grusah, when contacted, confirmed receiving the coach’s resignation letter. He confirmed to Ghanasportspage.com that the management would soon meet to decide on the next line of action.
