AshantiGold interim coach Thomas Duah says he is optimistic his side will beat Asante Kotoko coming Sunday at Obuasi Len Clay sports stadium.
The Porcupines will play as host to the Miners in matchday 23 of the Ghana Premier League. The first game in the first round between the two ended in a stalemate and both clubs would want to win to cushion their chances for a better place at the end of the season.
According to Duah, Ashantigold has prepared well ahead of the Ashanti derby and is anticipating a win in the derby. He claims that with his squad in full fitness, there is no way Kotoko will defeat them this weekend.
“We ready for Asante kotoko on Sunday and we are sure we will beat them,” he said
“Matches likes these are normally decided by the players on the field and I have full confidence in my players to do the job,” he added.
