The Black Meteors are in Jeju where they will take on their South Korean counterparts in two friendly matches. The four friendly matches’ forms part of the long term vision of the Ghana Football Association to put together a formidable squad for the 2023 Africa Games in in Accra, Ghana. South Korea will use the two games to test their readiness for the Olympic Games football competition.
Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin’s side will face South Korea Under-24 on Saturday June 12 at 10:00am GMT at the Jeju World Cup Stadium. There is no reported injury situation in Meteors camp. The team is aggressive to win today’s game
The two sides will then square off again on June 15 in another friendly match which will be played behind closed doors at the same venue at 11:00am GMT.
Coach Samuel Fabin’s side lost their opening friendly games against the U-24 team of Japan 10-0 in two legs. Ghana lost 6-0 in the first game on Saturday before falling 4-0 to their counterparts in the second game on Tuesday.
