Mathew Anim Cudjoe has not decided whether he will push to leave Legon Cities or stay for another year after the expiration of his contract at the end of the season, manager Samuel Anim Addo has explained.
Cudjoe completed a 1 year loan deal with Soccer millionaires Legon Cities from Young Apostles after his loan soell with Asante Kotoko before the start of the current league season.
The 17-year-old joined the Royals with a lot of expectations and was expected to play a key role for the team in the 2020/2021 football season but has had a relatively quiet season.
He has managed 10 league appearances so far this season and has scored just one goal under Coach Bashir Hayford.
The player’s manager and GFA Executive Council member, Samuel Anim Addo, told Graphic Sports that all options are open regarding the future of the player at Legon Cities.
“I have not taken any decision yet, but I will let you know once any new decision is taken regarding the player’s continued stay with the club,” he said.
The diminutive attacking midfielder has been linked with a number of European clubs since he burst onto the local scene two seasons ago, following which he had the opportunity of undergoing trials with the youth side of Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich.
