Karela United have asked their head coach Evans Adotey to step aside after their defeat to Ebusua Dwarfs.
The Pride and Passion lad suffered a 4-1 home defeat to Dwarfs at the Nduom Stadium on Monday in a matchday 31 fixture. It was their heaviest defeat of the season in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Karela have had a patchy run since the start of the second run of the season hence the decision to ask their coach to halt his duties until further notice.
Karela who had a brilliant start to the season have now have dropped to the seventh position on the league table with 46 points.
He will not be in charge when the Ayinase-based club take on Liberty Professionals this weekend at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope.
