Women’s Premier League and FA Cup champions, Hasaacas Ladies have made a sensational move for Northern Ladies speedy winger Rahama Jafar in an undisclosed fee.
The 2020/2021 winners of the Ghana Women’s League are looking to boost their squad in order to participate in the maiden CAF women’s champions league.
The fleet-footed attacker enjoyed a remarkable season for Northern Ladies and her addition to Hasaacas Ladies Football Club’s already blazing attacking third comes in handy for the task ahead.
She featured 13 times for her side in the league, has a knack for goals been the only player to have recorded a ‘haul’ in the women Women’s Premier League -Northern Zone and a ‘glut’ in the Women’s FA Cup and netted 9 goals in the process and was adjudged the top scorer in the tournament.
She also emerged 3 times NASCO player of the match in the league this season.
The trio in Veronica Appiah, Doris Boaduwaa and Milot Abena Pokua has been the bedrock to the success story of Hasaacas in front of goal. Rahama’s addition should make it a fearsome quartet and a nightmare for teams drawn in group B alongside Hasaacas Ladies.
Hasaacas Ladies have been drawn in Group B alongside Rivers Angels FC and AS Police de Niamey.
