Bechem United will host Asante Kotoko at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on matchday 33 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
With just two games left to conclude the league campaign, Bechem United find themselves lying in 13th position with 39 points. In contrast, their opponents occupy the second position, three points behind Hearts of Oak.
For Asante Kotoko, a win at the Bechem wouldn’t mean much should Liberty fail to beat or hold Hearts of Oak to draw, who need just three points from the remaining six to win the championship.
Bechem United would find themselves in a difficult should they fail to beat Asante Kotoko as either Liberty Professionals, Ebusua Dwarfs, and King Faisal could topple them with a win in their respective games.
However, a game against Bechem United away shouldn’t be a tough one for the Porcupine Warriors, who have managed to pick some good wins at the venue.
In the last five games at the venue dating back to 2011, Asante Kotoko has won three and lost two, scoring seven times and conceding five.
Coach Mariano Barreto’s travelling team will be without goalkeeper Kwame Baah which means Kotoko will choose between Razak Abalora and Felix Annan.
The game is scheduled for 3 PM and will be live on the Startimes Adepa Channel 247.
