Hearts of Oak defender, Larry Sumaila has hinted that he will dedicate his Premier League medal to the family of late phobian Shomo Quaye.
The late Quaye died late in the night on Wednesday August 19, after he was hit by a car while on his way to a football match viewing center to watch UEFA Champions League clash between Bayern Munich and Olympique Lyonnais.
The late Shomo Quaye was a regular guest on almost every Sports programme in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
Before the start of the 2020/21 season, Shomo Quaye was among the few supporters believed the Phobians will end its twelve-year Premier League trophy drought.
However, Larry on his Facebook page dedicated his medal to the family of the late Shomo Quaye in an emotional post.
“Am very Happy and am very Sad and Emotional at The same Time 😔🥲😪 Death Couldn’t Make You Witness This Day😞 One Of The Only Few People Who Believed And Had Faith That Accra Hearts Of Oak Will Win The League 😞😔When All Hopes Where Lost You Still Rallied And Made Noise That Hearts Will Still Win The League and Truly History Has Been Made😫😫 R.I.P where ever You Are SHOMO QUAYE!! God Knows Best For I personally Dedicate My Medal To The “Shamo QUAYE” Family” “Rest Well Legendary SHOMO – Your Legacy Lives On”
