Hasaacas Ladies FC has received correspondence from the West African Football Union Zone B that the upcoming women’s club championship has been rescheduled.
The new tournament date starts from July 24, 2021 to August 4, 2021 at Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire.
Aside the change in date, all other things stay unchanged. Hasaacas Ladies will kick start the 2020/2021 CAF Women’s Champions League on Saturday, July 24 against Rivers Angels FC from Nigeria.
The Ghanaian champions who are housed in Group B – will later take on AS Police de Niamey from Niger on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Stad Champoux in Marcony, Abidjan.
The first two teams from each Group will progress to the Semi-final on Monday, July 26 2021. The third place playoff and the final match will be staged on Wedneday, August 4th, 2021.
Ghanaian side Hasaacas Ladies will continue their preparation ahead of the all-important quest to qualify to the CAF Women’s Champions League.
The WAFU Zone B tournament is scheduled for Abidjan from July 24-August 4, 2021.
