Former Vice Board Chairman of Hearts of Oak, Dr.Ernest Bediako Sampson, has gifted the club GHC 20,000 for their league triumph.
Coach Samuel Boadu’s side ended the Phobians 12 years wait of a major title following a 1-1 draw with Liberty Professionals last Sunday that secured them a 21st Ghana Premier League(GPL) title.
Mr. Sampson who is the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) for a Pharmaceutical Company named Ernest chemists Ltd, has rewarded the team go their historic achievement.
The ex-board member made the donation at the team’s training grounds on Wednesday, July 14.
Hearts of Oak with a game to conclude the season are on 10 games unbeaten streak, drawing only two of them.
Their final fixture in the league is scheduled on Saturday, July 16 against West African Football Academy(WAFA) at Sogakope, where the trophy will be officially handed to the Rainbow lads.
The newly crowned champions is set to represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League next season.
