Benjamin Yorke has arrived in Accra on Thursday to finalize his transfer to Hearts of Oak from Samartex.
Yorke who has been a long-time target for the Phobians has finally agreed to join the premier league champions.
The 21-year-old is already in Accra to seal four years contract with the 2000 Champions League champions.
Yorke was a key figure for Samartex in the just ended Ghana division one league season scoring 12 goals and 4 assists in 24 games.
The youngster will however not play any part of the Hearts of Oak’s upcoming CAF Champions League qualifying phase due to the side’s inability to clinch the deal on time before the submission of their final squad-list to Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Hearts of Oak are the sole representative of Ghana in the 2021-22 CAF Inter-club competition after winning the double on the domestic scene.
