Benjamin Yorke on Friday completed his move to Hearts of Oak in a four-year deal from Samartex.
Yorke is predominantly a left-winger but can be used as a striker.
Yorke’s control on the ball and ability to run through defenders as well as his eyes for goals made him arguably the best attacker in the division one league zone two.
He joined FC Samatex from Leoze FC in Awutu Breku in the Central Region as a 16-year-old in 2016 and was the club’s top scorer in the NC Special Competition tier II with seven goals in 13 matches.
The 21-year-old managed to score 12 goals in the 2020-21 Division One league, providing 6 assists and 4 MVP awards.
