Asante Kotoko have reached an agreement with Medeama SC for midfielder Richard Boadu for transfer fee of GHC 120,000.
The Porcupines within the coming days will complete the transfer for the Black Stars B centrocampister who will be the club’s first signing of the transfer window.
Kotoko in the agreement is said to pay GHC 100,000 of the fee in installment with the remaining GHC 20,000 being add ons.
The Reds are expected to make first part payment of GHC 60,000 on 15th September , 2021 and an additional GHC 40,000 on 30th January, 2022.
Regarding the add ons, the GHC 20,000 agreed has been slit into two.
The Porcupines agreed to pay GHC 10,000 if Boadu makes 20 appearances in the forthcoming Ghana Premier League season.
Also, Medeama will receive a further GHC 10,000 if the player is involved in 10 goals including assists in the GPL.
According to the agreement cited by ghanasportspage.com, Medeama are entitled to 30% of future transfer fees-net.
Boadu has been an integral member of Medeama SC since joined them in 2018 from Phar Rangers. He made 22 league appearances in the just ended GPL, scoring a goal, and won one(1) man of the match award.
